A 2001 film by Tony Scott featuring Robert Redford and Brad Pitt.

I watch action films not often times. Maybe its the reason why its not easy to comprehend the story.
But I like the opening scene with the support of stylish background music. It really affects the audience' mood. That scene introduced the lead role Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt), a CIA operative who arrested but tries to escape from So Chou, located in China. Then, in the succeeding parts, it will tell how Tom Bishop and Nathan Muir (Robert Redford) met. Muir is a retiring case officer who found out that Bishop was detained and will be killed. Muir must go help him,, save his life in just 24 hours. It was discussed on a conference with the other CIA executives. I loke the cuts of the scenes of these parts. It is not too hard to view that the scenes were a flashback because of really nice editing. I like also the background music of the fil. Especially the noticeable kind of music which I think from different culture since the in the story, there is a change of locations. The sound effects may be over because in some part of the story, whenever the camera pans and it cuts, there's a sound.

From the Novel of John Le Carre, here is the film by Fernando Merrelles, an award- winning director also an experimental film maker from Brazil. The Constant Gardener confined me to my seat as I felt the suspense until the end. The story is about a man who will investigate for his wife’s death. A brilliant cinematography shot from Loiyangalani and Kibera, Kenya.
This is a very unusual kind of film to watch because it has a non-linear act structure. It kept my attention to the scenes to help me follow the story’s development.
The sudden scene changes in this film adds excitement to connect the scenes, to further understand the story. In the beginning of the film, the voice of Justin (Ralph Fienness) and Tessa (Rachel Weisz) can be heard, and then it shows us the airport scene. Tessa and Dr. Arnold will go to a remote place in Kenya. Later on, Justin was told by Sandy (Danny Hudson) that his wife was found dead and they went to a morgue to see if it’s true. Justin identified the corpse as his wife. The scene changes on how Justin and Tessa developed their relationship. Justin was impressed by the kind of attitude of Tessa during the confrontation of the two about Great Britain’s participation in Iraq. Then they become close to each other and got married. As the performance of the two characters, the contrast between the two can be observed. Justin is has a lot of dedication to his work, a very diplomat character. Tessa is much eager in helping the deprived people especially on isolated areas. On the other parts of the story, Justin will unfold mysteries on business practices of pharmaceutical industry.
Also, the story promotes a certain point of view about perseverance, integrity and dedication to work awareness about social injustice.

1997 film by Roberto Benigni brought a story about love, family and war.
Guedo Orefice(Roberto Benigni) an Italian book keeper, around 1930, once arrived in Arezzo, Italy. His funny character was caught by the charms of Dora(Nicoletta Braschi) an Italian teacher. They have a son named Giosué(Giorgio Cantarini). The story goes when they was arrested by Nazi and brought to a consent ration camp.

The film shows that the innocence can help to live life at ease and undisturbed. It is when Giosué was convinced by his father that the awful situations is just a game. He told that those quiet boys inside will earn points and giving complains will lose them points. Guedo kept his child's spirit until the end and its how the young boy survived.

A Scanner Darkly is a film by Richard Linklater from the novel by Philip K. Dick.
The film was created and shot with the real actors and it was animated during the post-production. The term for creating this effect is “interpolated rotoscope”. As I observe the film, it is like a semi-real cartoon. The technique is almost a demand to show the outcome in the effect of "scramble suit" on Bob Arctor (Keannu Reeves) It is a high-tech cloth that can change someone's appearance, voice, gender from time to time.

The story talks about drug addiction, drug supply and surveillance on drug users. A rehabilitation clinic at the New Path, launched a program that will treat heavy drug users.

Produced by Tommy Pallotta, Anne Walker Mc-Bay, Palmer West, Jonah Smith, Erwin Stoff. Music by Graham Reynolds. Cinematography by Shane F. Kelly. Editing by Sandra Adair. Distributed by Warner Independent.
